JAMES IRVING MORRIS
James Irving Morris, 66, died Monday, September 13, 1982 in a Baltimore hospital. Born Jun 18, 1916 in Albemarle County, he was the son of the late Lunus Morris. His mother was the late Alice Shifflett Morris. He is survived by two brothers, Charles H. Morris of Suitland, Md. and George C. Morris of Scottsville; three sisters, Beulah Shifflett of Mission Home, Alberta Shifflett of Charlottesville and Nellie Morris of Crozet; several nieces and nephews. He retired from the Bethany Steel Company in Baltimore. He was a member of the Episcopal Church and a Navy Veteran of World War II. Funeral services were held at 2:30 PM. Wednesday at the Prize Hill Church, Boonesville. Interment was in the church cemetery. The Rev. C. C. Kurtz officiated. Ryan Funeral Home was in charge of Arrangements.
