Dear Mother and All
I will try and answer your letters I have been geting. I haven't had time to answer them, I had to work in the kitchen Sunday and so I didn't get to write no letter. It is about 7 o'clock now and we have to go on a march at 8 oclock tonight. we have been on the Range to day shooting the Rifle. I made a pretty good score. I made sharpeshooter I am well and like the army ok. tomorrow is payday I will get 21 dollars. that and much Money a Month for to spend. I have some pictures I will send them to you when I get a chance. I haven't heard from Roberts for a bout 2 weeks I don't guess shew care to write. I can do with out letters if she can. Youall don't know what the army is we don't have no time just on Sunday. I got a letter from Roy and one from Freddy M. Adair proffit is a cross the water now. I got he address from Garwood. I am going to write him when I get time. I get a letter from Va and Cecil every week and some times 2. I don't get much Mail from Martha. I guess you will get a check in about 2 weeks from now. I haven't heard from Pauline for a long time I don't even write to her no more. She wrote me a hell of a letter but I don't give a dam.
I got three packs of camels cirgrettes for shooting a good score on the Rifle. I have got a lot of metal for different things I have done. How long is Fountain off. is Donnie grow any write and tell me about him.
What is Papa doing now working hard I guess Tell all hello I will close
