20 Jul 1752 Robert Thomson of Louisa Co. to Mary Davis, widow & Relict of Lewis Davis, dec'd., and John Davis. L 25 currt. Money paid by sd. Lewis Davis, dec'd. and Mary, his widow. Robert Thomson doth sell, bargain & confirm to Mary Davis during her natural life and after her decease to her son John Davis, 200 acres in Fredericksville Par. On Buckmountain Creek near the Great Mountains; which is the lower part and moiety of 400 acres patented in the name of Josias Wood and conveyed to Robert ThomsonÉnear a branch of Buckmountain Creek. 24 Sept 1754 John Davis and Mary, his wife, of Fredericksville Par. To David Thomson of sameÉ200 acres; part of 400 acres granted by patent 1 Jun 1741 to Josias Wood and sold to Robert Thomson; by sd. Robert sold to Lewis DavisÉsd. Lands were acknowledged in Louisa Court by Robert Thomson unto John Davis, Heir-at-law to the deceased Lewis DavisÉbeach in the west fork of Buckmountain Creek. Wit: David Mills, Ben. Brown Junr.
