The following pages are from the Hasten Tussey and Susan Estill Shifflett Bible.

Hasten Tussey was born 11 March 1791 in Virigina. He was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Lamb Shifflett. He died the 2 December 1877. He and Susannah Estill were married 13 January 1811 in Madison County, Kentucky. They moved to Missouri in 1823.

We believe the Bible was kept for many years in the Lorenza D. Shifflett family, Lorenza being the last child of Hasten and Susan.

My brothers and I are great-granchildren of Lorenza D. Shifflett.
