Comments My line is through Florence Selena Shifflett. She married Sewell Franklin McDaniel 7 April, 1898, Greene Co. Marriage Record. They had 13 children. My mother tells me there were three sets of twins born to Florence and Sewell. Their children were: George Washington, Arthur, Richard, Albert, Cleveland, Thomas Herman, Leanna, and Charles who was a twin (the other one died at birth), another set of twins born dead before Charles and his twin and another set of twins born after Charles and his twin. Florence was supposedly about 37 years old when she died giving birth to the last set of twins. The twins lived for only a few weeks and were taken by the mission or missionaries to be cared for after Florence died. Sewell and the children moved to Jefferson County, WV seeking work sometime after Florence's death. What I would like very much to know is where my grandmother, Florence Selena is buried.
