Dear Va and Cecil

I will answer your letter I got to day and was glad to hear from you.  I am well and hope you are the same.  I got your other letter the other day. I haven't heard from Roberta or Math this week.  It looks like I can't get no mail unless I answer every letter I have 6 or 7 letters to write where youall just have one and I don't have no time just on Sunday.

It has turned a lots cooler down here. We had a ball game this morning we win the game we got 8 runs and the other got 3 runs.  The War news is going pretty good now. they have done took Italy. I don't think it will last over another year.  I heard that they won't going to draft no more men in the Army yet a while for they have enough for a while. Cecil haven't heard any more about the Army yet have he.  I hope he don't. It takes a man to stand the Branch of service I am in.  This Infantry it is the Back Bone of the Army we have all kinds of training. I went to Macon last Sun. It is the closted town around It is about 7 miles from here, And Sunday we went swimming I had a nice time.  I am 90 miles from Atlanta Ga. That place is the pretties place I have ever seen. we had to come through Atlanta when we left Camp lee.  I could go to Atlanta on a week end pass If I wanted to.  How is the weather up there now It is cool down here now. I reckon Cecil is working every day now have you all ever been home lately.

Well since news is scarce I will close By By answer soon
